Effective October 1, 2016, company founder and President Steven Dennis has retired following a 40-year career in social and marketing research.  VP Jihad Melhem is stepping into the role as President and CEO. Jihad first joined Pivotal Research in 1998 where he was instrumental in the early stages of the development and implementation of multisource feedback for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. He then went on to lead the global market research operations for Sun Life Financial with a specific focus on life and health insurance. Before rejoining Pivotal Research in 2013, he also headed the Insurance Services practice at Morpace, a leading global research consulting firm where he delivered research projects for several Fortune 500 companies. Effective September 1, 2016, Jessica DeVries, Director of Research Operations, assumes responsibility for administering multi-source feedback (MSF) programs for health regulatory authorities, hospitals and offices. These include programs for physicians, nurses, and dentists. Jessica has been involved in MSF research for the past four years and we are pleased she has taken on this role so that we can ensure service quality and continuity.

Jessica replaces Phong Van who is moving to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta as a Consultant, Physician Practice and Continuing Competence. Phong has been instrumental in the successful administration of MSF programs across Canada and we are thankful for his dedicated service over the past nine years.
