College of Physicians and Surgeons

Pivotal Research Inc. administers the PAR Program, provides research services and support, and responds to queries from doctors participating in the program.  PAR provides doctors with information about their medical practices based on survey feedback from patients, medical colleagues, and co-worker health care professionals.  Doctors learn how those they work with and serve perceive their skills and abilities on topics ranging from medical competency and co-worker relations to communication skills and patient interaction. 

Originally developed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta, this program and similar programs are also managed by Pivotal Research for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia and the University of California San Diego.
